Hello! My name is Yao Xiaohua. I graduated from the Xinsu normal School of Suzhou, Jiangsu Province in China. Now it became Jiangsu Education College. My wish since childhood was to become a teacher. At school, I participated in many conferences and learned many new things on teaching and learning.
I feel I am most fortunate to become a teacher. To be able to teach in front of a class of students, to be able to promote one’s own educational ideals and to exchange learning experiences with my students are the most interesting to me. Most important of all, I enjoy the interaction between students and myself during the learning activities and the friendship that grows from it. I find my English class full of enthusiastic students and this encourages me to design more interesting activities. In the process, not only do we learn English, but I also used computer technology to assist my instruction and increase students’ attention and motivation.
During my leisure time I like to read books, listen to music. At the same time, I also like to learn how to use the new technologies like the Internet to search for new materials, PowerPoint to enhance my teaching. I am very excited about teaching, and I usually find myself totally involved in my work whether it is classroom management or the teaching of English. I feel my work is a great challenge to me. Owing to my positive personality I can be persistent and patient. Consequently, I am often rewarded by my efforts. |
